Canvas print depicting Persephone's Surrender, one of my original surreal acrylic paintings exploring the character in Greek Myth, her nature of innocence, beauty and intention attributed to spring and the newness of life. Yet, somehow sunken in the depths of the River Styx, its a representation of our human nature, naiveté and experience, where we find ourselves sinking, maybe with blooms of good intention trailing behind us, yet still we face murky waters. The illuminated waters above serve as a reminder we can make it back to breech the surface for a renewal and rebirth, reminiscent of Persephone's Spring. Each matte canvas comes with back hanging already included for convenient placement. The frame is made with profile radiata pine that is ethically sourced from renewable forests.
